Processing

When you visit this website, we process technical connection data, including IP addresses, in server and hosting logs to deliver the site and keep it secure.

We process account and authentication data to provide the account-backed service; billing data to administer purchases; and account-linked scan-summary and basic client/context data to understand usage, evaluate performance, and improve Periphery. With your consent, we process your email address to send product news and marketing emails; you can withdraw consent at any time.

For the account-free OSS workflow, we process GitHub repository and workflow-run identifiers, validation data such as line and file counts, scan-summary data such as runtime and result counts, country derived from connection metadata, CLI version, and platform to provide, secure, evaluate, and improve the service.

Legal bases

Processing necessary to provide the service or administer a purchase is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Processing to operate, secure, and improve Periphery is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where consent is required, processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Recipients, transfers and retention

We use service providers that process data on our behalf where needed to operate the service. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we use an applicable transfer mechanism. We retain data while it is needed for the stated purpose or to meet legal obligations; on account deletion, we erase or anonymize data linked to the account unless retention is legally necessary.
