Version 1.0 · Effective 11 August 2026
1. Provider, version and acceptance
These terms are between you and the following provider (“Periphery”, “we”, “us”):
Ian Leitch
c/o POSTFLEX PFX-761-255
Emsdettener Straße 10
48268 Greven
Deutschland
By selecting acceptance in your Periphery account, you accept this version of these terms. We may provide updated terms for acceptance before continued account-backed use.
By enabling or running the official account-free OSS workflow, you accept this version of these terms for that use. No Periphery account or separate browser acceptance is required for the account-free OSS workflow.
2. Licence and service access
Subject to these terms and any applicable plan, Periphery grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Periphery command-line tool and related account-backed service for your internal use.
3. Account-free OSS workflow
Periphery grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the proprietary portions of the Periphery command-line tool and hosted validation service, without charge, solely through the official workflow and for repositories you own or operate.
The account-free OSS workflow may be used only where:
- the repository is public on GitHub;
- a supported version of the official Periphery reusable workflow is used.
Account-free local scans, private repositories, and custom workflow implementations are not included.
4. Open-source and third-party components
Open-source and third-party components included with Periphery remain subject to their applicable licence terms. Those licences apply only to the relevant components; the proprietary portions of Periphery and its hosted services remain governed by these terms.
5. Usage and credentials
You must keep account credentials and tokens confidential, use them only for your account, and must not circumvent access controls or use the service unlawfully.
6. Changes to the service
We may change the digital service where there is a valid reason, including legal, security, technical, or operational reasons, and without additional cost to you. Where a change materially impairs your access and the law requires it, we will provide the required notice and rights.
